Last updated: May 20, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Mock Interviewr.AI ("Mock Interviewr.AI," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Mock Interviewr.AI website, applications, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing, registering for, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Eligibility#
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Accounts and security#
You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering and to update that information promptly when it changes. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we suspect a violation of these Terms or any unauthorized, fraudulent, or unlawful use.
3. Acceptable use#
You agree not to, and will not attempt to:
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law, regulation, or the rights of any third party;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, probe, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, models, prompts, or underlying technology of the Service except to the extent expressly permitted by law;
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service or its outputs without our prior written consent;
- Use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Submit malicious code, attempt to disrupt the Service, exceed rate limits, or interfere with other users;
- Use the Service to develop, train, or improve any competing product, model, or service;
- Misrepresent the source of any output of the Service or imply endorsement by Mock Interviewr.AI;
- Submit any personal data of third parties (including real interviewers, employees, or applicants) that you do not have the right to submit.
4. Your content#
The Service allows you to submit job descriptions, voice recordings, transcripts, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Mock Interviewr.AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, transcribe, analyze, and otherwise use your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service, and to comply with our legal obligations. You represent and warrant that you have all rights and consents needed for us to use your User Content as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
5. Outputs and AI-generated content#
The Service uses third-party large language models, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech systems to generate questions, transcripts, feedback, and scores ("Output"). Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for any particular purpose. Output is provided for educational and practice purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or career advice. You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any Output before relying on it. Mock Interviewr.AI makes no representation that Output is unique to you, and similar inputs may produce similar Output for other users.
6. Intellectual property#
The Service, including its software, design, content, trademarks, and all intellectual property rights therein, is and will remain the exclusive property of Mock Interviewr.AI and its licensors. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, internal use. No other rights are granted, whether by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.
7. Free tier, subscriptions, and billing#
Free tier limits and Pro plan pricing are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled before renewal. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for all fees, applicable taxes, and any incurred overage. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account. You may cancel a subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
8. Beta features#
We may offer features identified as beta, preview, experimental, or early access. Such features are provided "as is", may be changed or removed at any time, and are excluded from any service level commitments and uptime expectations.
9. Third-party services#
The Service integrates with third-party providers for speech recognition, language model inference, payments, hosting, and analytics. Your use of those third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, content, or availability of any third party.
10. Suspension and termination#
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or others, or for any other lawful reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
11. Disclaimers#
The service and all output are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mock Interviewr.AI disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Mock Interviewr.AI does not warrant that use of the service will result in any particular interview outcome, employment offer, or career result.
12. Limitation of liability#
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Mock Interviewr.AI or its officers, directors, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to these Terms or the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Mock Interviewr.AI's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amounts you paid to Mock Interviewr.AI for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification#
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mock Interviewr.AI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your User Content, (b) your use of the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
14. Changes to the Service or Terms#
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by posting the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date or notifying you in-product. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
15. Governing law and dispute resolution#
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Mock Interviewr.AI each waive the right to a trial by jury and the right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.
16. Export and sanctions#
You may not access or use the Service in any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S. trade sanctions, or if you are listed on any U.S. government list of restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws.
17. Miscellaneous#
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mock Interviewr.AI regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them at any time without notice.
